Fall 2016

What a fantastic fall season!  Other than Mother Nature raining on the Halloween parade yesterday – which we no longer have to participate in thankfully – it has been dry and comfortable outside.  I would like to say that we have been working hard, but truth be told we’ve been going pretty slow.  Why do too much if today if the weather is going to be nice tomorrow as well!

We have finished the clean up of the gardens.  We were able to apply a thick layer of compost to all garden space we use!  Having that long dry spell was imperative.  Now we have next years compost to accumulate and pile.  Last but not least is to move our winter’s worth of firewood under cover before the first snowfall.

On rain days like yesterday, I am able to choose to stay inside and work on the computer.  As you notice, I have redesigned our website.  It is kind of like the house..it needs painting every once in a while.  Along with the website’s new look, we have also taken the time to think through our CSA for next year, including putting together our 2017 CSA registrations.

There will be no major changes.  We still plan to do a full slate of shares as well as the Arnes Farmers Market.  We hope you will join us!  If you want to get an early jump at registering, it just takes a minute.  Click HERE and you’ll be all set for next year’s CSA.

Feel free to let us know what you think or if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Geoff
